For use with the Tablet Mounting Kit when there is a mismatch between the mounting plate and the size of the VESA mount on the tablet. The Tablet Mounting Kit is designed to work with 75mm VESA mount tablets, but if the size is 100mm then this plate will do the necessary adjustment.
